LittleEngine Gets Big Boost with Personal Attention (in other words, "Wow!)

Earlier this week, I received a rather interesting phone call.

As the call came in, I looked at the number. It wasn't my area code, so I thought it might be a potential client calling. I answered.

On the other end of the phone was Sheri Hansen, from LittleEngine.com, a business networking and directory site I had registered with about three days earlier.

She had called to ask if I had received my registration card in the mail to verify my business listing, and to ask if I had any questions about using LittleEngine.com.

For a moment, I was knocked back with amazement.

"Wow," I thought. "What dedication. What caring. What concern."

And, what a way to build a brand.

I didn't get that from LinkedIn when I joined two years ago. I didn't get that from Facebook. I didn't get that from Fast Pitch.

That simple call jumped LittleEngine.com up about 10 places in my mind about where to promote my business, and about 100 places in my heart.

Right now, I am not only a LittleEngine user, but I am a LittleEngine Evangelizer (as some of you have gotten this via newsletter).

I've emailed dozens of people now about this little site. I hope they experience what I did.

And I've seen the value of how connecting in the right way adds brand value exponentially.

Hopefully, there will be a time when Sheri is so busy, she can't call new registrants personally, because that will mean LittleEngine has seen tremendous growth. But I do hope they have others on staff who do.
